Over the course of approximately 3–4 hours of live instruction (with a recorded session available for later review), you will learn how to move and add 3D objects within the treatment software, ensuring optimal model manipulation and precise virtual setup for each patient.

You will also focus on the placement and editing of attachments, exploring strategic methods to improve tooth movement and overall treatment outcomes. By mastering staging and its components, you’ll create predictable step-by-step sequences for gradual, accurate tooth alignment. The session covers efficient IPR (Interproximal Reduction) planning, teaching you how to create the necessary space for desired tooth movements while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

To streamline organization and communication, you’ll learn model labeling techniques, enabling clear identification and tracking of each treatment stage. You will discover best practices for STL file exporting, ensuring seamless integration with 3D printing workflows, as well as how to create hollow models to reduce material usage and printing time. Additionally, the training includes the creation of printing bases for stable and reproducible model production.

By the end of this module, you will have the expertise to optimize 3D aligner production, enhance patient satisfaction, and improve clinical efficiency through refined control over aligner design, staging protocols, and 3D printing processes.
